A little about Saige at 8 months old:

Good at rolling/scooting on her belly to get where she wants to.

After scooting she will prop herself up on her side and look like she's posing

She can scoot on her belly around in a circle

Started sleeping through the night!! (beginning of Nov)

Likes to be really warm and cozy to sleep

Sleeps on her side

Puts her binky in her mouth by herself

Tries to eat little cereal pieces (Gerber puffs), sometimes she can get them in her mouth

Rocks forward when sitting and then rocks back

New foods: peas, white potatoes

Got her two bottom teeth (Nov 17 and 20)

Loved celebrating Colby's birthday and playing with his toys and balloons

Likes bath time with Colby but LOVES it by herself. She splashes and giggles the whole time.

I didn't do a very good job of keeping track of what she was up to this month. But I do remember that she was much more happy and content this month. I slowly started introducing milk products back into my diet and she did fine with that. She spent more time playing by herself and with Colby and was happy about it.

(side note: These pictures were taken right after our carpets were cleaned and we later figured out she is allergic to whatever they used to clean them with. So that's why her cheeks are so red. She had red spots all over her later that night. It also made her skin hypersensitive, so when anything rubbed against her skin it would get all red and raised up. This lasted for almost a week. We had to rent a carpet cleaner and go over the floors with just water and I had to give her children's benadryl for a few days before she was back to normal.)
